Grades 7th and 8th
Note to the entire 7th& 8thGrade class please take the time to read the Reading EssentialsScience Workbook, pages 142-146 and (WRITE OUT THE QUESTIONS) in your homework notebook. Please do not write inside the workbook, as we need to preserve the workbooks for the following years to come! Answer the following questions #5-11 located on the side panel of each page. Write out the questions inside your homework notebook. On page 146 questions 1-3 question # 2 just write out the questions ranging from A-D (you do not need to draw the graph)
Write all vocabulary words on index cards with the word on the blank side and definitions on the side with the lines. These Vocabulary words will be used for entrance/exit tickets.
Vocabulary:
Distance- Time Graph- used to compare the motion of two different objects along with calculating the average speed.

Mass- the amount of matter in an object
Density- the mass per unit volume of a substance
Solubility- the maximum amount of solute that can dissolve in a given amount of solvent at a given temperature or pressure
