Article on Franken Food has been updated on to the blog as pdf form. It has been brought up to my attention that that the previous post on google classroom connecting you guys to the link "Frankenfood" has presented it's self with some difficulties and issues obtaining the information.I attached the pdf format version of the article on to google classroom. There should not be any issues now. Please answer the question on loose leaf paper where the core question was answered in class.

Grade 5
Work on foldable activity to have a better analogy of both properties of elements and compounds. Make a vertical two- tab book and table it as shown one side property of elements and the other side property of compounds. Once labeled sides fill each side with properties that pertains to either elements and matter. Provide me 10 examples of elements and compounds. Please read the vocabulary on the two word to avoid mistakes. Students can use this as a review.

compound - substance made of two or more elements that are chemically joined in a specific combination
element - substance made of only one kind of atom

individual - single; separate
matter - anything that has mass and takes up space
mixture - matter that can vary in composition
molecule - two or more atoms that are held together by chemical bonds and act as a unit
substance - matter with a composition that is always the same

Please complete the story within your magazine on Super Science on "What a Feeling" pages 10-14. Transfer the vocabulary word on page 12 on to your index cards, Write me a one page paper containing 3 paragraphs or highlighting each emotion expressed in the article. Explaining what each emotion signifies and how you may relate to these emotions.
