Announcement to parents:
I would like to take the time to clarify any misconceptions with navigating my blog. I am aware that teachers in the school have their own style, method and ways to format their blogs in a way that better satisfies the teacher and suits the student. My blog is personalized so that each class has their own link to their homework and vocabulary words that pertains to their grade. That is located on the far left hand side of my blog where it states homework for all grades and vocabulary words for all grades. Your child’s grade will be listed below the heading title Homework for all grades and Vocabulary words for all grades. Once clicked upon the child's grade you will have access to a document containing information upon your child's homework and vocabulary words. PLEASE NOTE: If you are checking my blog through a cell phone mobile device you will be limited to the amount of information the blog will present to you. This is where a lot of parents get thrown off and have trouble finding their child's homework or vocabulary words. When you are checking the blog through a cell phone mobile device scroll all the way down to the bottom of the blog where you are given the option to view the website version of the blog through your mobile phone. Once you managed to click that option you will then be navigated to see the full blog and every information will be presented giving the parent a better idea as to where to find their child's homework and words. 2nd grade- Agendas are optional, we are working on every student to develop the responsibility to write their homework down in class, if any information on the homework is explained to the students in class and they make note of the homework in their agenda on the given day, there should not be no confusion on begining the homework at home. Up until further notice homework will be posted on the blog or on to google classroom once the students have the opportunity to use the program in January.
Google Classroom for 2nd grade: I normally use google classroom for all my grades. I was under the impression that 2nd grade will be using google classroom since all of my grades use it. The program serves as a versatile platform to relay messages to students, upload documents, and submit homework for the kids to do. It turns out that the second grade in reference to speaking to other teachers are not yet equipped with the training and knowledge to use the program. They will undergo training on how to utilize the program this fall and hopefully we can have them up and running with using the program by January. So as of now google classroom will remain on standby.
